We’re Closing,
and this is how you can help.

Due to issues surrounding our lease, we've made the difficult decision to pack up and look for a new space. We're hoping this is temporary, and there are a few ways you can help.

Since we're closing, all of our cats will be returning to our partner shelter. A sudden influx of kitties can easily overwhelm them, so the best way to help is by adopting. For the month of August, our partner shelter is waiving all adoption fees. Cats and kittens are completely free, including age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchipping.

1) Adopt a Cat (They’re Free!)

2) Know a space? Let us know!

Our biggest hurdle right now is finding a new home. We're looking for a space that is:

  • A freestanding building

  • Reasonably priced

  • In a visible location, not tucked away on an empty road

  • Owned by a friendly landlord

  • Approximately 3,000 sqft

Any findings, please email or text us here!

3) Use Up Any Punch Cards or Gift Cards You Have!

There are a lot of gift cards out there we can't trace back to their owners, so using yours (no matter the balance) gives us one less thing to worry about. The same goes for punch cards. Any free visits you've earned won't be redeemable once we close, so if you've got one sitting in a drawer, now's the time to use it.

FAQ’s about the closing:

Q: What will happen to the cat’s and kittens?

A: All cats and kittens who are not adopted will go back to our partner shelter (Charles County Animal Care Center) to hopefully get adopted.

Q: What will your place look like? Will it be empty?

A: Our cat and kitten room and shop will look the same until the day of closing. The last day we will take new cats & kittens will be September 4th, 2026.

Q: What day will you be closing?

A: Our last day hosting visitors will be on Labor Day (September 7th, 2026). We will be hosting a special during Labor Day weekend where you can book an All Access visit (to see both Cats and Kittens) for 50% off.

This page will be updated in the coming weeks with more info as we approach our closing date. Thank you to everyone who has come to visit the kitties, and we are hopeful we can continue to save more lives down the road.
